I am very anti-abortion, and last I checked, I'm also female. I'm so tired of these questions of, "Well, are you still pro-life in cases of rape?"
Let me give you some information, which I know for a fact FIRST-HAND, which you, as a male, probably would not know. When a woman is raped, she should go to a hospital to be examined. The doctors have to be sure that there was no tearing of the vaginal walls, and samples have to be taken of any body fluids that may have gotten into the vagina (or mouth or anus, whatever the case may be). The samples have to be taken in case the woman wishes to press charges.
The victim also has the choice of whether or not to take what's known as the "morning after" pill. This pill pretty much guarantees that the woman will not get pregnant. Nearly all hospitals offer this.
This being said, in cases of rape, I feel that abortion is justified. I know if I had gotten pregnant, I would not and could not carry that child. So it's unfair to assume that all who are anti-abortion are still anti-abortion in cases of rape.
Most people who are anti-abortion feel that the laws should be restricted, which is how I feel. It is ridiculous that babies (because that's what they are!) can be aborted in the second and third trimesters, when in another wing of the same hospital that is performing abortions, they are attempting to save babies who were born in the same timeframe prematurely.
I also feel it's wrong that a sixteen year old girl can go have an abortion, but has to have her parents' permission to get her ears pierced.
And it's ALSO wrong that abortion is being used to avoid responsibility. Don't want to get pregnant? Maybe try NOT having sex, or use protection. Granted, a woman can still get pregnant even if she's on the pill, and her partner is using spermicide and condoms, but at least the risk is less.
So that's why I'm against abortion, and that's what I believe about it. There should be more restrictions, but since it's been legal for thirty years, it should stay that way.

MOST DEFINATLY, No matter the father, it is still a child! And to terminate a life no matter if it is one that has begun or not is wrong. I am not saying that I would keep it but there are other options than murdering an inoccent child. There is no reason for it. The child don't understand why you would kill it, so why do it.

Is it the child's fault that he/she was conceived? Why not give the child a chance to live and prove himself/herself into this world. Afterall, the child did not have a choice too...

Being a responsible Mom, I always support pro-life and its causes. It is different when you talk about it from a mother's point of view.

The only thing I can say to you is PRO CHOICE. I feel that this decision is left completely on the parents. BUT where this was caused by RAPE then I think the decision is left solely up to the mother/victim.

No. I'd sell myself to Ripley's Believe It or Not.

"First Man to Give Birth".

Worth a fortune.

hmm.. Considering I'm a man, that would be kind of hard.

However, if it did happen minus the pregnation part-- that'd be a bit nasty.

A bit crude...

Do I even want to know why or how you came about this awful question?

I'm pro-choice... but I don't believe the sins of the father will make the children evil by default.

I'd still be pro life. If I didn't want the kid, I would give him/her up for adoption.

If your father had been a mass murderer, would you have wanted your mother to abort you?
