At my age, and this should be a reminder to all you young folks, is when my daughters say they are proud to be my daughters, or list out the reasons why they appreciate me.
Men my age don't think so much in terms of love and sentiment. We think more in terms of what we have done right. So, if your father is in his 40's or above, don't just say you love him, tell him why you love him.
