Okay.. a doctor told me this.

Usually you start by counting the first day you get your menses as DAY 1.

You are most fertile between day 8 to day 21. It would be most easy to concieve during these days.

However, counting days are not a good form of contraception. This is because there is ALWAYS a chance that you get pregnant.. even if you have protected sex.

Eg, my son was concieved 3 days before my menses and with the use of contraceptives :)

So, the best way to not get pregnant is abstain from sex ;)

usually chances of getting pregnant will be more in 11th -18th day.u will get pregnant if you have intercourse in these days.but it depends on the periods of that woman.if a woman gets her period exactly for every 28 days then the 14 th day after the periods is unsafe.for remaining women it will be 11- 18 days.sometimes it will be 8th day till 21st day.
