Is it a particle or a wave? Does it require a medium or is it one? Has anyone truly discovered the source of light? Or is it as fleeting as its velocity?

Spiritually, I am a believer of the bible and in the beginning , God says let there be light and there was light and the light was so intense that the darkness comprehended in not. This light is also known as Jesus christ that was sent to the world by God the father and the ancient of days .He came into this world of darkness to set us free from the darkness of the world and to bring us to the light and love of GOD. AMEN.

In the science view of it, the light is generated by frequency and wavelenths. In the real sense of it, velocity of light is the combination of frequency of light multiplied by the wavelength. The standard value for the velocity of light is 3*10raised to the power of 8metres /secs.
Really , no one has fully discovered the source of light aside the velocity of light basically. You can also check the work of some physicists like Newton(the man of the century), and soon.
be good.

when electrons in matter are excited in some mannar, they give out photons. These photons are the building blocks of electromagnetis radiation of which light is a component. These photons have both particle and wave properties. Thats why the term electro+magnetic.

it is both particle or a wave, as al matery is. cause when particle moves so fast, it bicomes a wave, it is what is called cual nature. it is a medium, consists of photones, the small particles. it is realesed like radiation from a realy hot mater such as sun, or a small wire in lightbaulb.

When something gives off a photon it makes light that we can see. It is just a form of radiation. There are arguments about whether or not it has mass. You could spend a lifetime studying just that.
