does dying your hair ruin the folicals?

I want to dye my hair but I dont know what brand to use or if I should? is it safe to dye your hair and not damage it? no silly answers pls.

It is not safe. Your follicles will not escape damage.

its not good for your hair but everybody does it anyhow
