(im a girl just so u no) anyways, i like this guy that goes to my school and its your typical story where he doesnt know i exist blah blah blah i want to get to know him but my question is, what do i say to him when i go up to him for the first time? and if some random person came up to you, how would you react? should i go for it and talk to him? or just admire from afar? and like i said, if you think that i should talk to him, what should i say?

Be involved inas much as many school activities as possible... if u really like this guy, be involved in his activities, like school plays, sports, or whatever he's into... U can start from there... probably start a conversation about things he like... But please do not lose ur identity. What I mean is, do things that u love doing also... And then Im pretty sure, if you're really involved and busy, he'd notice u! Not only him, but many guys as well.... U may never know that someone better is out there waiting for u to notice him too!

Go up to him, introduce yourself, and ask him some question about school. Like, "Are you in second hour History?" or something like that. Beforehand, think of some things that you could extend the question into, such as "Have you gotten into the Revolutionary War yet?"
I know these questions are kind of lame but you get the idea. If you can start a conversation that goes somewhere you certainly won't be talking about History for very long.
No don't just admire him from afar. Trying to get to know him may go nowhere but, then again, it may start something. You don't know until you try.

Find any little thing that you believe would interest him and start a mini conversation on that. For instance, if he wears a shirt you like, compliment him on the shirt, then ask him where he got it. If it somewhere unique, ask him about the place he got it from building more and more upon the conversation listening for small details and making the conversation longer. He will see that you are more interested in him. I wish you the best with this. :-)
