I watched this Disney movie as a child.
It was about this little girl who was buried alive in a well. Her mom didn't know what had happened to her.

I can't remember too much of the middle of the movie, but at the end they found out that her evil uncle had her buried alive in a well.

Her ghost comes back and tries to solve her murder. And like every other Disney movie there was a little dog involved.

I think there was a kid who could see her ghost and the little girl's old dog could too.

I can't remember the name of this movie to save my life.

I think it had the word glass somewhere in the title.

Thanks.

Thanks for all the great answers.
I found out that it was a Disney movie that aired in 78 on the Wonderful World of Disney.
I was born in 80, so I guess I had caught the rerun on the Disney chanel.
My mom and I loved this movie. She actually cried at the end of the movie.

Yeah when you talk about the plot it does sound rather dark for a Disney movie.

My mom and I love Ghost stories and movie likes like that.

I'll pick and answer shortly and thanks again.

Never heard of this one!

Child of Glass is a TV movie based upon a novel by Richard Peck (The Ghost Belonged To Me). Child of Glass was updated to the present when it was created for Disney's TV series in 1978, had been aired on NBC.

[edit]
Plot
Alexander Armsworth and his family move into a spooky old Dixie mansion that was once the home of a notorious river pirate. Before long, Alexander catches sight of a mysterious little girl and her dog, both of whom turn out to be ghosts. The little girl ghost tells Alexander that her name is Inez, and appeals to him for help in finding a child of glass.

With the aid of his new friend, Blossom, Alexander finds out that Inez was a victim of the river pirate whose house his family now inhabits. The pirate killed the young girl when she refused to tell the location of the treasure he sought; for good measure, he placed a curse upon her that has caused her to roam the plantation after death. With only a few days left before the curse becomes permanent, Alexander and Blossom rush to find the child of glass and free Inez's spirit.

It was Child of Glass made back in 1978. Here is the plot:

Alexander Armsworth and his family move to an authentic antibellum mansion, which once was owned by a river pirate. Alexander is drawn into a century-old mystery when he sees the ghost of a little girl, and she asks for his help in finding the "child of glass" by reciting a riddle. He has only a day or two to solve the riddle, or be haunted for the rest of his life!

I remember it too, but he didn't bury her there... she was running from him and fell down the well and died. She didn't fall all the way to the bottom though, she rolled into a crevice on the side. It was called "Child of Glass" and was a made-for-TV movie in 1978.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Disney movie though.

I am a huge Disney Classic fan and i have close to no idea what this is. It could be though one of those small cartoons in the casper casset wich holds 5 Casper clips and a small clip imbetween them.

Child of Glass was the closest thing I could think of as well. It's by Disney, but was a kind of "made for TV" thing. They've said since it wasn't very popular, they have no intentions of releasing it on DVD.

that sounds kind of... dark... for being a Disney movie.

I did a quick search, and came up with Child of Glass
