Yes, I have reason to believe that there is more to this than meets the eye. Backed by the US, Israel is staging this for their own self interest (and for their allies, too!). Since Sharon`s time, they really like to invade Lebanon but failed. And the capture of those two Israeli soldiers by Hezbollah is the perfect excuse for them to destabilize the country and bring about the puppet government they have all been waiting for. Typical US tactic!

Well since the "good" people and government of Lebanon (a country I enjoy visiting very much) have done nothing to stop Hezboullah and stop Syria's influence there wouldn't have been any type of Israeli action.
But since the people nor the Government of Lebanon did nothing and let Hezboullah attack Israel for so long and let Syria basically do what ever they wanted to support Hezboullah. Well I am sorry to say but Lebanon pretty much asked for it.
I have been to Beruit many times and Lebanon is a terrific country its a shame that this is happening, but nothing was done to stop Hezboullah from attacking Israel.

I doubt that Israel might want to nuke'em, yet i imagine that the Jewish state might want to pummel Lebanon into the darkish a even as utilising commonplace guns. keep in mind, Lebanon is so on the point of Israel, a nuclear bomb dropped there might want to possibly have adverse effects for the Jews. Plus, Lebanon has no longer the state-of-the-artwork war device made specially by using Uncle Sam, like the Jews do.

No. Isreal should do everything in its power to defend itself. They should continue to bomb Lebanon until Hezballah and is terrorist regime is disarmed. If Lebanon would support getting rid of Hezballah and his terrorist groups, then this would end.
Hezballah and his cowards are hiding behind decent innocent Lebanese people and is getting them killed to prove his sick point. Iran is also involved and is providing them with weapons to reach further into Isreal. I
would bomb them and push them back as well to create a buffer to save the innocent people of Isreal. If the people of Lebanon rise up and say no more, and give up their terrorist groups and not let them hide amongst them, this will all be over, and it will not get any worst then it is already. What would be the point of all of this if Isreal stop and retreat, leaving Hezballah still intact to terrorizes the world.
I say bombs away. I know it is tough, but after 911 and a bomb reaching my doorsteps and killing my fellow Americans, and rushing me out of my city, I am glad someone is finally doing something about routing people out who have no regards for human life and think that in the year 2006 they should still be allowed to terrorize the innocent to get their way.
We will not be bullied. Isreal will not be bullied. I think that, the fact that Lebanon has not stepped in and rushed Hezballah out of its country knowing that their people are dying because of Hezballah gangs is APPALLING. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THAT?

Israel is a terrorist country itself, they do whatever they want in the name of self-defense. But nobody thinks that the Lebanese and Palestinians are defending themselves against Israel !

by the way israel is not a country originally , look at any map just 50 years ago you will not find anything called israel , israel made by stealing palestinian ,lebanese, syrian lands to make a country for jewish to full fil thier dreams of having a country for just jewish , and millions of jewish immegrate to palastine to make the country of israel , with the movement of called zionism ,and this movement also focused on that jewish should control media in usa and western countries and make strong lobbies in them , and contrloing media enable them to disapear thier crimes in middle east , and in the same time to deform the image of arab and of islam religion and make it seem to western people as a religion of violence and terrorism and woman disrespect...and ofcourse that is wrong because any any religion ask people to be kind ,forgiver, treat other human well and if islam wasnt like that there will be no one be muslim
israel from time to time want to enlarge its land for the continuing immegration of jewish so it occupy part of syria and sometimes lebanon and was occupying part of egypt too,
and because of the strong jewish lobby in usa , the us govenment always behind israel help it with money and weapons and sometimes veto to allow it to have larger land , and kill more, and thats why some people in middle east hate america , because it is the indirect reason make them loose thier homes , or have thier children killed by israeli solders
hizbulla and hamas are 2 movement of resisting ocupation, and any any country in the history was occupied ,there was people from it try to remove the occupation and it is very normal , but because jewish control media they image hizbulla and hamas as a terrorism movement , they changing truthes
and usa government help
forexample of changing truthes - its true that hizbulla take two israeli soldiers but how many civil lebanese in israeli presons with noreason...they are too much , israeli presons full of thousands of palastenian and lebanese including children and women,
last question : is it logical that because of two slodiers ,israel destroy a whole contry " lebanon" or ther are lots of true secrets and reasons
we should think well

Not kept the same opinion the whole time. I am behind Israel. They have been picked on for way to long and they are tired of it.

Yes, I had hoped they'd be less timid this time around and clobber their enemy. Currently, it's about a 10 to 1 kill ratio. I'd expect more from my gov when we get attacked again.
