My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and we talk about a long term future together and having a family. He is divorced and scared to get married again and has made this clear to me but then at other times when talking about ourselves in the future he calls me his wife... So are there any signs he wants to propose or that he never will?

You have to make it clear that you're looking for marriage. If you don't, I don't think he ever will. He'll get comfortable and will just want to be living out of wedlock. If that's cool with you, then there's no problem. But if you're looking for marriage and he's not, then you're just being led on. Sure, all guys talk about the future, they know we like to hear it. It's a bad sign that he's made it clear that he doesn't want to get remarried and you're still hoping he wants to. Make sure you guys are on the same page. Make clear what YOU want. This way you can get a clear picture of what he does or doesn't want. You don't want to waste your time with a guy who won't commit to you. Good luck!

some people they discuss about life term relationship thats leads to marriage and maybe he want to hear what you will say about it so you just wait till he will ask you to marry him some turn out to be a distarter.so give him sometimes and its you have to make him understand that humain being hand are not the same.so the ball is in your court.change is mind so he will know how do deal marriage situation again i wish you all the best.

i think he will coz he calls u his wife.
me and my boyfriend we've been together for something like 4 years. since long time ago we talk about future plans and stuff.
two years ago he started telling me he wants me to be his wife.
that's y we decided to have a baby though we r not married yet.

well my now fiance went to buy me a promise ring as a gift then my family told him that if he was serious enough to buy me a promise ring at our age then he should just ask me to marry him. he thought about it and he did. But there wasn't any real signs.
