We have only men and women !!!! well because we are deliberately blind to others like transgendered and transexual people whom we think are either abnormals or out of minds. we fail to recognise that they too are human beings , normal human beings like us and that they too have a right to be a part of this world. Indian Hermophodites and Hijras are marginalised to such an extent that they cannot enjoy a decent life as they wish. People are pretty hostile to them, no one employs them, they have no voter cards (if they do have , they are enrolled as males) and they are usually harassed and discriminated and even raped where even the law does not recognise them.

We do??
That's news.
What about other genders... eg... men who believe they're women. And women who believe they're men. They are neither here or there, so to speak, when classifying humans as 'men or women'.
And what of the actual labels?? Many so-called 'men' that I know are very, very gentle and couldn't even kill a gnat, never mind a snake! And lots of 'women' I know could cheerfully leave their kids and run off with the circus!
So, darling, if all you have to deal with in your world are men and women, consider yourself extremely lucky!

Well there are some abnormalities where the infant's parents chose their sex or the child does at a later date. There are several varieties known to medicine. So there's actually more than most people realize. Makes for a very interesting world!

There are actually 5 biological sexes, but most babies born not in the two categories that are accepted by our culture are "fixed" within the first few months of their lives to conform to our biological standards of sex.

If we didn't "fix" these children, up to 17% of the population could be composed of hermaphrodites, pseudoferms, and pseudomerms. But, considering today's social climate, the world would not be kind to these people as they grew up.

It's all you need to reproduce.

What else would you like, the only other option will be a self replicating being. Without the need for others to reproduce, they would soon take over the world

because only men and women like to be spanked when they are bad, animals are well known for disliking spanking, except in the case of magpies who like a light spanking in the morning.
