Pale is the new tan? Yes or No?

With all the hot weather this summer every one in california is looking dark, even with out trying! Would you say pale is the new tan? Or that tan will always be better???

Not pale as in sickly pale.. but Lighter skin as oppose to darker skin for white people.

Pale is always better. Have you seen what someone who tans regularly looks like by the time they are 50? Leather skin....yuck. Besides, too much UV can cause skin cancer.

Both. I have fairly pale skin but am always a bit tanned and I look healthy without being extremely pasty and white or without looking like a sunburnt red tourist.

I have so been waiting for this! As a pale skin, never tanned in her life, sunblock wearing chick, this could be my dream come true. Casper the ghost no more... and which way to the albino convention?

I think that pale peachy skin is the ticket,tanning ages you and is very bad for your skin,you will be so glad when you age if you keep your skin looking paler, and soft now.

i don't think pale is attractive but neither is orange. in my opinion you should just touch the limit of your tan. btw you wrote how make clip in extensions and i just wanted advice!!!

all i know is that i'm pale mainly coz i'm allergical both to the sun and to the solarium.... guess more and more people are affraid of getting skin cancer so they are not spending that much time on the sun and wear mega strong sunblocks:)

I wish it was, lol. There was a time and place where white skin was sought after (well, for white people that is). If that ever comes back, then I'll be "in". :O)
