My girlfriend has a private myspace site that I can't access or view. She admits that she uses it to flirt with other men, and that she has over 300 "friends," but says it is innocent. Nevertheless, she will not make it public or otherwise let me view it. Also, she tells me she has some of her ex-boyfriends on it. She says she will delete the site when she is good and ready of her own volition, but will not have me dictate whether she can or can't have the site. We have been dating three years, and I basically support her. Is it wrong for me to give her the ultimatum, delete myspace or say goodbye to me? FYI, please do not suggest that I make up a profile and add myself to her site... I won't do that.

Giving anyone an ultimatum is never a good thing. People should make their own choices in life. Your girlfriend isn't being very trusting or truthful to you. I'm married--and to have a trusting relationship you really can't/shouldn't hide things like a Myspace account. If she is willing to share her account with the 94 million other people in Myspace and not include you, that isn't right, but it is her choice.
3 years is a long time to be with someone don't let a habit of being with one another stop you from making a few choices of your own. You should let her know just how uncomfortable you are with her not letting you see her account. See how she responds, but just be prepared. She might poo-poo your fears, or ignore them or really listen. But from there you should be able to make your own choices/decisions. Giving an ultimatum doesn't really solve anything, it just causes more bitter and hurtful feelings instead of addressing the real reasons. Good luck with your choices.

It's innocent flirting. If she's not meeting up with these guys, what's the big deal? Yeah, it's wrong that she has it on private because I'm sure you feel as if she's hiding something. And you have to have trust for a relationship to work, so just let her know you're having a hard time trusting her when she doesn't let anyone else see your page, including you.

well if you cannot accept the idea of myspace that you should do that but also try to understand that you may find she is a totally different person if she will not be allowed to have her own space!! don't break her dreams she will let them go when she is ready...is the same thing with a diary or personal stuff one can't let go!! If you love her tell her what you fel but don't put pressure on her!!

Ultimatums NEVER work in the long term. You will lose. Let it go. Worrying about what she is doing is only hurting you. You have let her know it bothers you and now you need to drop it. If she is going to cheat it will be with or without MySpace.

fb and Myspace have no longer something to do with saftey. as long as you're smart and don't supply out very own recommendations to human beings on the two one then they are the two only as risk-free. p.s. I say MYSPACE.

believe in ur own gf..
life is a series of pulls back and forth. you want to do one thing, but you are bound to do something else. something hurts you, yet you know it shouldnt. you take certain things for granted, even when you know you should never take anything for granted. a tension of opposites, like a pull on a rubber band. and most of us live somehwere in the middle. sounds like a wrestling match, so which side wins?
love wins. love always win.

She uses mice piss to flirt with other men. What kind of men would be drawn to mice piss? Yes, I would definitely get rid of it. It is probably loaded with all kinds of pathogens.
