Employers have a drug-free workplace, but that refers to taking controlled substances, like illegal drugs and legal drugs used without a prescription. This should not prohibit you from taking prescription medication under the direction of a physician. Your employer is violating your rights, you have a disability and that is protected under the ADA. If you'd like to consult an attorney, many lawyers will give you a 1hr free consultation and offer you some good advice. I highly suggest you do that. Under "no" circumstances should you stop your medication, that is prescribed by a physician and is vital to your health.

File a complaint against your employer for not letting you take your medicine in the Bureau of Labor. It is an anti-employee practice as it affects your health.

You are protected under The Americans with Disabilities Act.
