Do you really think any of the celebrities in sports, movies, tv, or music actually care about the rest of us?

We shell out billions of dollars to these people and all we hear and read about is how they spent more money that we could make in a year in one quick shopping spree.

No, most of them don't because when these natural disasters happen you see them on TV asking all the rest of us to give money, when like you said they heve billions that they use to go shopping. If they cared they could miss one shopping trip and giving to other people. I'm not saying all of them are like that because I do know some give money to charities and stuff.

There are the select few who do care for others. The celebrities who go out there and try to help those in need, those living in poverty. Some could care less. Majority of them are enjoying their perfect lives in the spotlight with their house worth millions. It's ridiculous how they can spend all that money on materialistic things when there are more important things in life. I never understood why they got paid so much in the first place.

The only person I truly admire for his dedication is Pat Tillman from the arizona cardinals. he turned down a $3 million contract with them to join the army with his brother after 9/11. he knew that he was given the priviledge of living in this country, and that he would fight for his right and the rights of others. he died 2 years ago at war. that shows true dedication. he didn't care about the money. now that, is a true hero, no matter what anyone says.

There purpose is to entertain us. That's why we pay to see there movies and/or buy there products.

Some celebrities care about there fans because they realise that they have gotton as far as they have only by the support of there fans.

Others simply do there job and don't care. But I personally don't care if they don't care or do care lol

Care?? Yeah right! What they care about is just their own interest and how to make even more money (again - from us). But if one of us stands in their way - they call it harassment. Unless, of course, there's a photographer around - than it would surely make a good picture ;-)

some do some don't but i really don't care, they r entertainers n if they r good at what they do (entertaining me) then i don't really care having to spend 15$ on a cd or 11 $ on a movie or a couple hundred for a game.. the purpose is all entertainment.

When I recently had a hernia operation-the entire cast of friends and the mighty boosh came round to visit.
They bought grapes and magazines.
So don't lump all the celebs together-some of them really do care.

YES THERE ARE ALLOT OF US THAT ARE TRUELY CARING AND HONESTABOUT THERE FAN BASE. AND THEN THERE IS THE MAJORITY I WOULD SAY ABOUT 65%, THAT CAN CARE LESS. THEY WON'T GIVE YOU AN AUTOGRAPH, TIME OF DAY ETC. BUT YOU ALSO HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THE IDIOT PAPARAZZI HAS A GRET EFFECT ON THE LADDER. BUT THERE ARE SOME TRUE AHOLES OUT THERE. ALL YOU CAN DO ABOUT THAT IS STOP BUYING THERE PRODUCT, GOING TO THERE MOVIES ETC.

I really personally don't care if they think about me...nor have I thought about it. Yet, since you asked the question,....well it's a free country...all the celebrities' monies still does not change the fact that they still brush their teeth the same way I do, they sit on the toilet the same.....I suppose.....etc. : )

it's not all we hear about, and not all celebrities are like that. some of them really loves us and cares- i mean, we're their fans, if it wasn't for us they wouldn't be where they are right now. the ones that dont realize it are just stupid and doesn't worth your money and everything =]
