Because most people cannot imagine the lengths the ruling elites will go to, to increase their power, money, and control.

Dubya's puppeteers policies are not new :-

“Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
Hermann Göring(Nazi) 1946 Nuremberg Trials

The US. Government has lied about many wars. The increase of troops in Vietnam was based on an attack in the Tonkin Gulf that never happened. Some say that Roosevelt knew about Pearl Harbor and let it happen to get support to join World War Two. The Spanish-American War (Remember the Maine!) was also based on a hoax.

Not to mention the numerous covert wars that they lied about. Iran-Contra, the overthrow of Mossadegh in Iran, Allende in Chile, Arbenz in Guatemala. Also the war in Panama, against someone who was on the payroll of the CIA. Cuba as well. The Bay of Pigs invasion was supported by the CIA, and the people who invaded were trained by the CIA in Guatemala.

As for 9/11 this is the origin of the plan:-
"We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order."
David Rockefeller: Statement to the Untied Nations Business Council in September 1994

"For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with other around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it." David Rockefellers memoirs (2002)

and this is what Dubya's puppeteers had to say in 2000;-
"Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor"
Project for the New American Century (2000)

Which brings into question 9/11/(2001), which was never investigated properly, and has been hijacked in order to enact Dubya's agenda and the subsequent illegitimate wars.

Decide for yourselves people ;)

I do agree with Dubya on one thing:-

"I think one way for us to end up being viewed as the ugly American is for us to go around the world saying, "We do it this way. So should you."
"I think the United States must be humble and must be proud and confident of our values, but humble in how we treat nations that are figuring out how to chart their own course."
George W. Bush - 2nd presidential debate Oct 11th 2000

Because when you make fairly illogical suggestions, you get fairly illogial reactions. Making personal insults is illogical. Calling someone stupid in no way supports your own arguement.

However, I would say that the suggestion that the 911 attacks were perpetrated by somebody other than foreign terrorists (which I assume means you're theorizing they were perpetrated by domestic terrorists, or *shock, gasp* you're implying some government conspiracy theory) goes against every scrap of evidence that has been produced about it.

There were 19 hijackers involved in 911. I don't think you can really argue about who was on the planes. So the only argument you can really make is who they were working for.

The idea that these men would go to their deaths for their religious beliefs is entirely plausible. The Islamic extremist's jihad has already seen many young men go to death as bombers. It's seen as the ultimate sacrifice, for which they will go straight to heaven.

The idea that these men went to their deaths for the US government however, is harder to believe. Most of them were foreign nationals for starters. And the countries of their origins (either their birth, or their parents birth) are countries with a strong muslim element which supports the jihad. I don't see any reason why these men would want to sacrifice their lives so that the American gov't would have an excuse to go to war with their own countries. That's illogical. Furthermore, many of the 19 have proven links to previous radical muslim activities.

Bin Laden admitted that he was behind the attacks. He and his associates were already being sought by the US on charges of international terrorism, including in connection with the 1998 bombing of American embassies in Africa and the USS Cole in Yemen. It seems fairly conclusive.

Now, I've given you a very logical answer, without making an personal insults. Let's see if you'll acknowledge it, or if you're just looking for other conspiracy theorists to come out and say that anyone who believes this is a stupid, gullible sheep being led by the American government.

"Soleofsoul":

Because the implications are enormous: This kind of event could rattle the entire government. You better have some proof to back up those suggestions. I had some time last week, and decided to see if I could not find some proof via the web. What I found will shock most anyone as it did me.

This is a good time to be examining the collapse of the towers, because we are finally starting to get some cold hard evidence, that show us, how those buildings came down. Here is some of the most recent non-refutable evidence available today.

1. We now have eye witness accounts, from people inside of the building, telling of explosions taking place, on different floors, including lower floors, just before the buildings went down. Many of the witnesses, were silenced when the buildings collapsed, but their accounts live on, in just released radio recordings. (I'll try to find them on the Internet for you. I heard the firemens radio conversations, not to long ago.) They went something like this, "What's going on! I'm on the 22nd floor, and I just heard an explosion." "I'm on 72, and I heard one too."

2. Photographs of the buildings, just before it went down, show molten metal flowing out, from the building. Structural steel requires temperatures, well beyond burning jet fuel, to melt. Further, the color of the glowing molten metal, is also representative of high temperatures, beyond that of burning jet fuel. See source below, for detailed information, regarding structural steel melting points etc.

3. A chemical analysis of the molten metal, found at the site, shows traces of a chemical called, "Thermate". Thermate charges are used by professional demolition crews, to cut through steel beams, to demolish buildings. Incidentally, the samples were recovered by a member, of the clean up crew, who kept it as a souvenir memento. Most of the scrap metal, including the pools of molten steel, were recovered by a demolition crew, and discarded. There are though photos, at ground zero, showing beams that have been shearded at a right angle: Slag is shown dripping from the process. Click on photo, in website below; for a close up examination.
http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2006/06/341238.shtml

4. Thermate traces have also been found, inside the bodies, of those exposed to the gases from the molten debris; people such as firemen and clean up crew members.

I found the following video clips, while conducting research. They do have a bias slant, but they are also very intriguing. Once you see them, you'll never be able to see the 9-ll tragedy the same again: I know I won't.

Most people are not willing to face the fact that their own government would and could (and probably did) orchestrate the entire thing. Look how many of our politicians are getting rich off of a war that had nothing to do with Iraq to begin with? And Dubya's answer when asked why he isn't looking for Bin Laden is "I'm not worried about him, he is just one man. There is a whole network of terror out there we are trying to stop"

Why? Because there be idiots a-runnin things.

Because a lot of people are closed off. They believe only what the news say. Also in America we have all these American flags hanging in front of every body's house. They don't want to hear something that will upset them. They prefer to be proud that they are sending soldiers to fight for a cause that might not be the right one. Don't worry about it. Be tolerant towards others opinions.

most probably the answer lies in the deepest human psychology, where the answer is the only thing that they want to hear. i could stand for other possibilities, hell! i even know what a government or a respectable country would do to get their way so i wouldnt close my judgement about it. anyway, try to imagine the profit of an attack that was lead by a country which filled with oil ;)

The Man in the Box

is correct.

It's a adolescent type reaction, remember when you were a kid and someone said something like "Yo mama wears ugly pants"

Remember, rather than looking to see if she actually had ugly pants on, you "went off on them" and criticized, ridiculed and slandered them.

Its the same thing here. Their political party and its leader is like their mother or father.

Then have no independent thought outside the prescribed 'talking points' for the day.

Maybe its because really deep down in side you are just looking to get a rise out of people so you throw s*hit in there face like that. I personally think its very funny for one to do so. It most likely means you need a nap, plus lots of attention because you have a very big social complex, and are trying to reach out. I could be totally wrong to. But I feel after reading this you will become OWNED..

Because you are requiring them to think critically about a belief they most likely disagree with. They believe what the "news" tells them. And since the average person is a moron who is incapable of abstract thought, critical thinking, or the possibility of new ideas, they react by offering the only rebuttal they are capable of: immature insults.

well, judging from those insults, u're in america, right? I am from europe...And we do know a lot about democracy. You should definately have the right to say whatever u think, and no insults should be said. People should respect the other person's opinion...
Just keep on saying what ya think, it's the best way of using one of your natural right: freedom of speech!
Take care
