I agree with your 00 point of view, they really do suck in general. I am not sure how you are defining progressive, but my favorite bands that are still rocking strong from then are Kiss, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, and Heart. I like Train a lot too but I think they are in the 00 category. Good question!!!
