Some program must have the folder opened. Quit all your programs one by one and try again. If that doesn't work, you might try rebooting to get the program out of memory.

do it in DOS... or for those that aren't that old.... use the command prompt and try it that way. Also see if you have music programs running in the background in the tray... if they are they are looking at that folder and that's why you can't delete it.

make sure it is not shared and is not in use by other person when you try to delete it
also make sure you yourself are not listening to them when deleting it!!
also check for any peer to peer file sharing program installed which might be whisking the songs to someone over the internet...let me know how it goes...

First ensure that no program is accessing your songs folder, eg: windows media player, itunes etc.

it is in use, maybe ur playing it or opening it somehow, try to close it first then u can delete it
