Israel is committing mascaras in Lebanon and Palestine and the only thing that the world is doing about it is absolutely nothing . I was really surprised from the Arab summit statement that Israel has done that before and they don't care about any of the security council decisions and that they have already dismissed the higher court before and that there is nothing more they can do but pry for the Lebanese people. If this is what the Arab leaders are saying what did they leave for their people to say. I can't believe that the world is standing by and watching Israel destroying Lebanon one more time and doing nothing about that . I am just so frustrated and I don't know what to do and don't even know how to feel any more it is like I am numb , I feel so guilty watching TV from my living room and can't do anything about it.

Israel is not allowed under International Law to occupy Lebanon and deny the Palestinians their land. The rights of other people should be respected because they are entitled to freely inhabit their territory as part of the nation.

Israel has no choice but defend its citizens. Hezbollah gets more weapons, and weapons of higher quality from Syria and Iran. If Israel would not try to clean south Lebanon from Hezbollah, there will be even bigger trouble later.

Lebanon army, with help of international forces should disarm Hezbollah. Arabs would get much further in their progress if get rid of extremist movements.

Know your history.

150 years ago "Palestine" was a barren wasteland, inhabited only by a handful of BRITISH soldiers. There were NO "Palestinians" anywhere. The entire area was a backwater province of the Ottoman Empire, and England had an uneasy peace with them, that allowed British military outposts in the port city of Haifa, and a small outpost in Jerusalem to protect supply lines. The only time anyone came through the area it was for commercial purposes. There was no irrigation, no system of roads, and there were no settlements anywhere, just ruins; houses and buildings that had been abandoned decades and even centuries before.

About 120 years ago, in response to growing antisemitism in Europe and western Asia (Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, the Baltic States, etc.) small numbers of Jewish people began moving to the areas around Jerusalem and Haifa, the only two real cities at the time. Keep in mind, about the only people who lived there were British soldiers and their families. The Jewish REFUGEES built settlements, farms, roads, irrigation systems, etc., and did it all without help, often despite resistance from the British forces. It seems the soldiers and their families didn't care for the "infidels" either.

Around the turn of the century, many Arabic-speaking peoples from throughout the region, mostly from the Ottoman Empire, but some from Egypt, Saudia Arabia, Iraq and Iran, began moving into the now very British-controlled area. These peoples were mostly failed revolutionaries, and were the predecessors to today's extreme Islamofacists. Their ideas of forced Sharia Law (very strict Islam) and Jihad against Jews were eventually blended with Western Socialism, which was in vogue with the British at the time. These are the fundamentals of Iran's government, the Taliban, Hamas, Hezbollah, al-Qaeda, and others. The British government was quick to begin trade and commerce with these peoples, as it was seen as the best way to encourage instability in the Ottoman Empire, which was growing increasingly aggressive toward European neighbors (particularly Greece) with whom the British were allied. Along with this new partnership came a strong resentment of the Jews in the area. The Jewish settlers tended to not need to trade very often, and so did not really benefit the new locals in their commerce. Add to that the tradition in Islam that any area once ruled by a Muslim is ALWAYS CONSIDERED MUSLIM afterward, and suddenly the Jewish settlers are constantly offending the Arabs, just by being there!

After World War I and the collapse of the Ottoman Empire (into multiple countries like modern-day Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and parts of Hungary, Iraq, Iran, and others...), England made "Palestine" an official colony, and began taxing the crap out of the locals, who had been receiving virtually no protection from the increasingly violent, and expanding, Arab population. BRITISH TAX LAWS WERE NOTORIOUSLY UNFAIR against the Jews, often taxing more than 30% of their income, while only taxing about 5% of the income of Britons and Arabs.

After the Holocaust, WHICH MOST ARAB COUNTRIES DENY EVER HAPPENED, the United Nations and England agreed to give Israel, as it was named in the U.N. resolution, to the Jewish settlers already living there. The resolution was passed in 1946, but it wasn't until 1948 that England finally allowed the Jews to have any say in governmental affairs. During that time, and for many years afterward, into the late 1950s, England's unofficial policy was to help the growing Arabic resistance, including offering strategic military aid to Egypt and Saudi Arabia in their (failed) 1948/9 invasion of Southern Israel.

Since that time, Israel has had constant wars, but has NEVER been the first to strike. Israel has been invaded 18 times, from all sides, but has never provoked an attack. Every time it has been invaded, Israel has repelled the attackers, taken key installations and often taken control of quite a bit of the invaders' lands, yet each time has negotiated a peace accord that gives that territory back. Hundreds of TERRORISTS have killed thousands of INNOCENT CIVILIANS, and we dare say that Israel is wrong?

Hezbollah was created by the Iranians shortly after the revolution that installed the Sharia government that still controls Iran, with the sole purpose of destroying Israel once and for all. For more than 20 years, Hezbollah has been kidnapping and holding hostage innocent civilians, often women, children, and the elderly, and for each Israeli demanded the release of hundreds of Arab prisoners. These prisoners are ALWAYS in prison for committing violence against innocent civilians. Israel has tried, for more than 20 years, to appease Hezbollah and make the world happy. In response, Hezbollah has demanded that all Jews worldwide be ERADICATED.

I hope Israel wins.

The Islamofacists are getting what they deserve.

Hell no! Israel should withdrawl they are not only killing innocent people, but are also destroying public infrastructure. Israel bought their 'promised land' of the british after wwII (even though it belonged to the arabs not the british). This is why this region is in constant conflict - good idea planting jewish settlements amongst arab ones - who see the jews as their historical enemies - NOT!

I do consider "Who Cares". This difficulty has many colors of gray. often cases attempt to solid a black and white view of those subject matters and say "it is their fault!" is what perpetuates the issue. convinced Hezbollah did strike first, subsequently Israel has a real to safeguard itself. convinced Israel is utilising severe rigidity as we talk. there is of route an agenda right here to get rid of Hezbollah's protection rigidity ability. convinced Hezbollah and Israel are persevering with to electrify one yet another. see you later as rockets keep touchdown in Israel, Israel will proceed their moves antagonistic to Hezbollah and vice versa. Hezbollah is responsible because in case you throw stones, you should assume stones to be thrown decrease back...and galvanizing a attainable military like Israel is only inquiring for it. convinced Israel is responsible because they honestly galvanize by ability of moves antagonistic to Palastine and rules in route of the middle east. they're both responsible for the shortcoming of harmless existence and the violence.
