II know the title seems weird, but let me explain. I want to find out what others think about this subject. i watched a show a few years back that stated that people get more pleasure from masturbation than through sex.

It all depends.
Sex can be a wonderful thing or a trivial event. If you had sex everyday the same way it would probably get boring. Masturbation on the other hand (pardon the pun) is not very time consuming and involves only one person. So you only need to focus on your own pleasure. Sex involves two and usually both people are looking to have pleasure in the event.
But I can guarantee you, when you find someone you care about. The sex you will have with that person will be more gratifying then masturbation could ever be.
Sex is best when it is with someone you love. Masturbation works when you love yourself best.

sex is better with the right guy because there is a chance to make a connection, to feel intimacy with someone else that u cannot feel when u are beating it with your hand... sex is even greater when love is involved... n even when it's not... there is nothing compared to the feeling of a penis inside the vagina, the friction, the intensity.. the passion of the other person with yours.. the magic of procreating... it's really an erotic spiritual experience.. n with that climax, it's almost as if u feel gods prescence, the 10 second bliss of an orgasm experienced with a man on top, below or behind you is heaven!

At some level we all know that sex has moral significance, and lots of it. Otherwise no one would bother trotting out the phony lines they do. There’s no real doubt what sex is. The real confusion comes from the failure to understand what sex is not

I'm not sure about that show but it's not true. If someone says its true then I'm sorry for their sex-life.
I find that pleasuring each other and denying the eventual outcome is more excitinig for both partners than anything.

masturbating and actually having sex is different in a lot of ways mainly sole vs. sharing the experience. Some people do better alone.

I will answer it in a different way,Sex is the very basis of our origin and we love it becoz it connects us with our being.Sex will always have an edge over mastrubation,coz sex involves approval of your body and your energy your emotions by another individual and vice versa. True sense of oneness between two individuals created by sex cant be generated by mastrubation.
