Right click My Computer. Go to Properties. Click Hardware. Click Device Manager. Find your Bluetooth on the list--probably under Network adapters. Right click it. Click Uninstall. This will delete the hardware from your system's "brain," and then it won't ask you to install the drivers or other software anymore.
OR, you can probably install the software for Bluetooth, which is a whole other story.

You must install your hardware properly, look what kind of hardware is shown in the message and then check if your hardware is in the good status if your hardware is good and windows cannot install it, use your hardware's driver and if you don't have it's driver connect to the internet and let the windows search for it's driver and if windows installed it and by a restart it appears again you must reinstall you're windows!

I have the same problem. I tried un-installing and re-installing. And none of the other suggestions on here will help either. I did not have any documentation for mine (I got the device from my son). Try contacting the maker, if you can find a tech support number. And let me know what you find out! (I'll keep a watch on the question).

there are so many possibilities to do it.
1. Remove the unused hardware.
2. Re-install your important hardware's drivers.
3. Disable built-in hardware at your CMOS! Notice: ITs DANGEROUS out there.
4. Refer it to someone who knows about H/S.
and the Last is maybe you got virus: if so, you need to re-install your OS.

It sounds to me like you still have the bluetooth plugged into your computer even though it is not working. Unplug it. Reboot.

attempt to install it and let it fail. It won't ask you after that.
