Why it's hard to spell is beyond me, but then again most people get used to me speling things wrong... it sets me aside from the rest.
Have a nice day and smile.

instead of looking at letters try feeling them. Sounds strange. But get some playdo (the stuff kids play with to make shapes) and make all the letters of the alphabet. Feel with your hands what each letter feels like. Often dsylexics tend to be kinesthetic rather than visual and this trick really helps. I've seen it work with young children and it was pretty amazing.

I've often thought that too. It's the same as me stammering on words that start with an "S" and trying to say "stammer", "stutter" and "speech impediment".
