Make her a card saying you are sorry for any bad behavior. Be honest. She doesn't hate you, it was probably the situation that was awkward. Sit down and have a heart to heart talk with her and get to know each other. Have a positive out look so you get plenty of rest so you have a lovely visit. Treat her like you would anyone else you know, she is the same as all of us, human.
Stay positive, all the worry in the world isn't going to change what will happen so get some rest

if you didn't steal something you didn't. tell her that you would like to not have the tension between you. You would like to have the relationship better. Explain to her about whatever you think she thinks you stole. This is probably the only thing you can do. The more you stress, the harder it will be for you. Don't let her do that to you. You need to be able to enjoy your time with your father. Just remember, you may not be able to change her mind, but at least you got out how you feel. Have a good time with your dad. good luck. Blesses Be.

I do not know how old are you, but from your question what I can guess is you must be still a dependent on your father and you are with out your real mother. The new wife of your father has hurt you by not participating in the singing during your Birthday celebration. You can not have a choice in whom your father has accepted as his wife. What you can not cure, endure. You have to endear her by your behavior which must combine respect and love. If you can not love, at least pretend that you love. That will please her and save your father of botheration of living with a new woman and a grown up daughter from his earlier wife.

I think you should get her a card that says you are sincerely sorry and give her some flowers. In the card I recommend you write something along the lines of
Dear ____,
I am sorry we got off on the wrong foot. I want to say that I hope you will forgive me for any inconvience or trouble that I may have caused in the past. Please think of it as a childish mistake and forgive me. I truly hope that we can improve our relationship and I hope that we can get along.
Sincerely,
________
Once you do that, just try to be polite afterwards until she leaves...or at least for a while so ...this way you guys can be civil.

If she is mature and kind, she'll forgive you and say sorry too.
Apologize first, then ask her if you guys can just start over and forget whatever happened in the past. You will see it in her eyes if she wants to do that or not.
Does your dad take her side or yours or none? He needs to help you two work it out, so apologize to her in front of him and see what he says. I hope he helps and doesn't make it worse!
Good Luck, sweetie. I think you'll be okay if she is a nice person. I hope so.

All I can say is treat others as you would have them treat you. Even if they are biotches. That's really the best thing to do, and it makes you feel better in the end, rather than being in a "I hate you more contest with the person" or avoiding them.

It might be water under the bridge. Don't fret too much. Just play it casual and when you can get some free time alone with her, let her know that you were sorry about whatever. If she's mature enough, she should accept it.

First you think your's dad's wife as your mother. Then try to imagine your mother is in front of you, every time when you meet her. Your whole stress will go.
