Are you sure you want to know? ok you asked for it.

The Menstrual cycle is the cycle of reproduction there is
no other way to put it because that is what it is.

The womans uterus is like a cocoon that holds
the baby in place. Interestingly enough the baby
gets its first nourishment from the uterus and
not the placenta. After a few weeks the baby
relies on a yolk sac and then the Placenta.

What happens is the uterine wall build up nourishment
in anticipation of pregnancy. When pregnancy doesnt
take place it sheds the nutrient rich lining along with
the unfertilized egg. That is why we bleed once a month
it is dead uterine tissue ( gross huh? ) but not so gross
because without it women would not be able to give
men children.

The whole moody , crampy thing -its not normal

women are not supposed to get cramps or become
moody or nauseated. The reason this happens is
because most women in america and other industrialized
nations, they are malnourished and also up to 60%
have hormone imbalances. Once these are
corrected no more PMS..that is why they
call it Pre Menstrual Syndrome. Its a Syndrome
not normalcy.

The best thing she can do is get on a protien
and fat nutrient diet, with plenty of Flax and
fish oil. Some vitamin and mineral supplements
and a phyto-hormone supplement such
as Plus by mannatech. This will help her
body correct the imbalances that make
her body malfunction during her cycle.
Glandulars help too.

your welcome : )

it`s all about hormones . in the second half of the menstrual cycle the progesterone hormone level rises leading to some sort of salt and water retention and some irritability . and if pegnancy didn`t occur the ovum dies leading to drop in the hormones estrogen and progesterone with subcequent loss of the support of the endometrium which is observed as external bleeding
