Yep, that is what makes them mammals. They have to have a uterus to carry the baby and therefore, should they not get impregnated in the wild, they would have periods. You just don't hear about it very often since once the females come into heat, they get a male or 20 on them in a heartbeat so no real period ever happens. Have a great day!!!

Technically, menstruation is the shedding of the uterine lining between ovulations. Menstruation has been detected in most nonhuman primates, as well as in marsupials, carnivores, insectivores, tree shrews, flying lemurs, bats, and elephants.
But not all mammals have overt, or externally visible, menstruation as humans do. Many menstruate covertly,
reabsorbing the uterine lining after it is shed so that bleeding is not externally visible.
