Great game! Learned how to play it in 6th grade, way back in the early 70s... I still enjoy the computer version today every now and then...
It's been around a long time! I still have a hard time trying to pronounce a couple of those 'Russian' territories!

It's great and the more people that are playing, the more fun the game. I love holding risk parties on Saturday nights and have 4 or 5 people over to play. I love trash talking. Making allances. Breaking Alliances. One of the best games ever. My strategy is to take Aouth America, and then North AMerica or Africa, whichever is easier afterwards.

I play it all the time at college. I love rule variations on card turn-in, army placement, and fortification. It's the best game ever.

Risk is fine, but if I want to play a long game, I'll play Runebound.

I love it, but it's hard to find anyone to play with because it takes so long and is boring in many people's minds.
