The station casino's are inexpensive and fun.
They are Texas station, red rock, palace station

So are the coast casino's-- SOUTHCOAST is all new .

Suncoast is in Summerlin. It is cheap and fun.

On the strip you can get good deals on luxor.com and westin.com

Also-- sometimes www.hotels.com has some specials.

The best place to stay, budget wise is the Imperial Palace. Totally inexpensive if all you care about is a place to sleep. It is centrally located, right between Harrah's and Flamingo. Right across the street from Cesar's. You couldn't ask for a better locale. So close to everything, and GREAT taxi service!

The pool, ehhh. The food, okay. But like I said, it is right in the middle of the strip. You can walk easily to four corners, down to Treasure Island. The rooms are simple, no extravagance, but nice beds and pleasant staff. And hey, if you are just looking for a place to sleep, near all the action and it's cheap the Imperial Palace is the way to go!

Sure there are.

It is well known the The Orleans is the best bang for your buck in Vegas. It is not on the strip, but they have shuttles that come and go every 30 minutes.

The Barbary Coast is smack dab in the midle if the strip. It is smaller (but still nice) and doesn't have a pool or the glitz of the mega resort but I can't think of a more centrally locayed Hotel. Considering its neighbors Bellagio,Flamingo, Bally's it is more economical.

What ever hoten you chose be sure and add this website to your search. http://www.utopia.worldventures.com
I have used it successfully to get a room at th Bellagio for less than the hotel website price. t was also $146 cheaper than what Kayak or Sidestep could find.

I think the Sahara is cheaper than Imperial. Their online rate is the best and its in the middle of the strip.

My friend stays at the Motel 6 and its on the strip. Can't beat the location! He said he's going to party so why worry about a room?

You can go to www.tripres.com and find great deals too

I loved Terrible's Hotel and Casino. The prices were good. The staff was good. The food was good and cheap. And the place is only blocks from the center of the strip. I loved it and will stay there again and again.

all of these casino's listed on here are cheap and pretty nice, but only the imperial is on the new part of the strip. check out aladdin or harrah's. if you go to expedia or orbitz, you can usually find some pretty good deals for both of those hotels.
