I mean, today it was 118 here in Arizona setting a record since like 1936 or something like that. I've noticed that each year it seems to get hotter? Could it really be here? I'm confused honestly on this whole matter.

It has been happening for the last couple of decades. Now it is up to us individuals as to what we are going to do to make a change. I live in Bakersfield, CA, and today it was 107, yesterday it was 106, Saturday it was 112, Friday it was 110!!!! So, yup I totally understand where you are coming from.

The mid 1930s were very hot and as you notice all the heat records we are breaking now were set in the 1930s. In my area it doesn't feel like we are getting hotter, but our winters are getting milder which I dont mind at all. Do we have global warming? Yes it does seem like we are. Is it because of human activity or some other phenomenon such as solar flares, rotation of earths axis or something else? That's any ones guess right now. We just dont have enough information to be making qualified statements. Is global warming bad, dunno, things are going to change that's for sure, maybe it will be a net good maybe bad. Rather than debate on whats at fault we need to be looking at what we can do to adapt. Its going to take a lot of sacrifice from a lot of people around the world to lower the production of greenhouse gases, I dont even know if its possible to get everyone on earth to agree to something like that without some sort of major catastrophe so until then we should be thinking of the best ways to adapt to a changing environment.

You betcha. It's here. And if "We" don't start
planting trees in a big hurry it may be too late to
recover from all the trees that have been Clear Cut,
and burned, in California. Right now, Power
transformers are burning out, right and left. The Power Co. is bringing in thousands of heavier duty
transformers that can stand the heat. They are
bringing in hundreds of Work Crews to change all the
transformers. 500 crews as of July 14.

P.G.&E knew about Global Warming and chose not
to change the transformers until now, even though they
expect an increase in temperature.

People should read the book, "An Inconvenient Truth",
or see the movie by the same name.

Trees Absorb Carbon Dioxide and emit Oxygen. This
keeps a chemical balance in the atmosphere. Without
this "Cleansing" of our atmosphere we may not recover from Global Warming

Autos don't emit Oxygen like trees do. Just a lot of CO2.

If you roll two dice and get double 6, does that mean the dice are broken? Nope, you get high rolls sometimes.

Similarly, you get high temperatures sometimes. If you don't get this kind of heat once in a while, that would be a sign of a future Ice Age.

But then again, a lot of places set record lows and record snowfall last winter...guess we really can't be sure which side we're on.

Maybe we shouldn't worry so much. You know, gas wouldn't be so expensive if we didn't have so many environmental issues, and poor people should be able to drive a car to work.

Global Warming is a myth created by leftist globalists to keep the sheeple scared as a method to control behavior. Inconvient Lies by Al Gore is a work of fiction based on junk science, it does not take into consideration normal solar and geological cycles.

The Earth orbits on the sun, during the normal processes of orbit the orbital cycle fluctuates over a period of about 180,000 years, during which we move closer or further away from the sun.. So in one sense global warming occurs as a result of this. Regional temperatures are influenced to some extent by society but the earth is an amazingly resilient system.

Sheep need to wake up the fact that AL Gore's junk science trash and his ilk are politicians and not scientists. Back in the late 70s and early 80s the conservation movement was taken over by global leftist who adopted this "causes" after the decline of communism in the east. Common sense and Al Gore are mutually exclusive.. They do not work well together.

Read Michael Crichton's book "State of Fear" it is admitted piece of fiction but Crichton's research does detail by far more exacting scientific proofs for the lies being told to you sheep.

Yes global warming is already here. Evidence is the continuos rise of sea level where some remote part of the low lying area are under water eg.Kiribatis(South Pacific),the increase in the heat since the ozone layer is worn out (which prevents harmful rays from hiting us) and also some parts of the North Pole are melting. So get ready for da Bang........

Yes, it's been here over there last 100 years. The problem is that we don't know the reason. It may be a natural climate change or our fault... We'll see that later.

However, it doesn't make only the weather warmer. It has a global effect, such as the increased number of hurricanes, sudden flood-like rains... etc.

No, global warming is something invented by the governments of the world to make money.

The earth is just shifting on its axis therefore some places are warming and others are getting colder.

Probably. The earth's temperature has been fluctuating since it was formed, and we could be seeing such a fluctuation. Although atmospheric CO2 levels are rising and there is a popular conception that this is the cause, that is not established.

Yes, definitely. If we continue to pollute the environment the way we do, pretty soon we'll reach our own extinction. The glaciers are melting and sea level is rising, while earth's temperature is increasing significantly.
