Israel is Gods chosen nation, He blessed Father Abraham in his old age with a son named Isaac, then God blessed Isaac with the inheritance of his fathers land (the promised land). Unfortunately,Ismael the bond womans son did not receive the promise of his father, because God had promised to give Abram and Sarah a son, well they did it their way, but this was not Gods plan nor choice, so he did it His way, and blessed the seed He had chose to bless them with, rather than Abrams first born son Ishmael, the son Sarah had suggested her maid Haggai give birth to for her. So theres always going to be an on going battle over land and oil. I choose Israel because they are Gods choice.
