The real question might be do you feel ashamed for promoting hate in a country that you probably love? What kind of inadequate upbringing and personal insufficiency drives you to ask so many hateful questions? Is there nothing more enjoyable for you to do with your time rather than generate hate?

I'm ashamed of the leaders that call themselves 'christians' when they are the antithesis of Christ-like. They push their evil, taxpayer-raping, unjust agenda's that shortchange those that are really suffering in our country. I despise those that make a living out of being politicians and being in power at the expense of the concerns of ordinary citizens that they are supposed to be representing. I really dispise this country's leaders, but I love it's citizens and it's many cultural and scenic attributes. I also love the opportunities I have here that I would never have anywhere else.

It's not easy.
I do it every day.
I'd love to move to Canada. but cannot afford to.
Plus I am almost 50. A lot of countries have age limits now so I don't qualify.
The USA is run by a bunch of mafia thugs, voted in by the right-wingers and "good christians".

I moved. But lots of people don't have a choice. I seriously think that people in Somalia or North Korea are not too thrilled living there, but where would they go? Unfortunately, our future is predetermined by the fact of our geographical birth. One of my friends calls it "being born dead" - meaning, you just don't have a chance in life, because you are born in the wrong place. You may disagree with me, but have you ever been to favela in Rio or Ethiopia?

Seriously. I'm regularly overcome by horror and sadness when I see what's happened to the United States. This isn't my country anymore. The evil Christian fundamentalists have taken it away and are destroying it.

A lot of Americans I heard moved to Canada after Bush was re-elected...so I guess some people leave, but others just tolerate it...

maybe they stayed because they don't have a choice. i know i am. i love my country but i don't like living in it, there's just too much corruption. it's a mess. especially because i lived abroad for a few years made me know what it's like to live better.
but i can't move to any other country. it's just too hard. too many regulations and takes up too much money.

they dont have options, and for various reasons.when you are citizens in the country, its not your fault if the responsible party give its shame to its country, we have to live for reasons and fight for any endeavor and challenges that aheads of us even if we are living in a country that we hate or shame of.
