If you call a guy and he doesnt answer the phone, but when u call again (in another day) he told u that he wasnt able to answer your call because.... and then he explain with detail why he wasnt able.
Is this means that he cares, or is he is hiding something?

in this case he is a friend, and when i call him or send him an email and dont get an answer he let me know later why he wasnt able to answer the phone or read my email with a lot of details.

I think the guy before my answer didnt want you to call him.
Certainly a woman can call a guy!
He did answer the second time, didnt he? no hagas caso de lo que dicen todos aqui acuerdate que hay muchos prejuiciosos.
He could be hiding something, but if he did answer your call and explained something to you, maybe he does have a reason and valid.
Does he care? only you will be able to tell if he calls you back , if he asks you out, if he sounds truthful. But if you dont suspect him truthfull follow your heart.
Many men are not so truthful when they are uninterested on a woman. Dont push him either, that bugs men. And you should not have to push anybody if htey are not interested find someone who is and will pick up the phone and be happy to talk to you.

You have not supplied enough clues to come to a conclusion whether your guy is hiding something. He did not respond at the first call, may be due to very simple reason that the surrounding was not congenial in terms of the presence of certain people within the range of hearing. The next time he tried to explain so that you do not misunderstand him. But why should you jump to attribute a motive to his conduct? You are complicating a very simple situation by over reacting to it. Better be careful and correct yourself otherwise you will suffer while dealing with friends, relations and also strangers.

Hmm. I can't figure from that information. I believe it depends of the level of your relationship. If you are just pals, and you might be starting to get serious, I'd say it means he cares. If you are in a relationship, serious, etc., I'd say that he is trying to hide something.
Unless, of course, you can check that he really was doing what he told you (I have a friend who is very fond of constructing airplane models; if the phone is ringing, but he cannot pick it up because he is holding the model so that the glue will dry properly, he may later explain in detail what he was doing, the airplane model brand, name, color, size... etc., and that would be normal for him).

question is was it a cell phone? with caller ID? did you leave a message when you called him? then he would have no excuse about not returning your call. how about giving him the benefit of the doubt and give him another chance anyway. don't be so suspicious. men are weird sometimes (or maybe you know that already!). just don't get into the situation of playing games and just when you see him in person next time get everything out in the open and COMmunicate!

i've learned that guys don't really like being called...and if they do answer the phone they have nothing to say. if they're really into you then they'll call you.
calling too much makes you seem clingy.
in your case your guy just might have been busy...though i don't know what his excuse was for not answering the phone the first time.

well if he never returned your first call i would think he doesnt care and then when you call again he trys to explain himself that just dont sound right. but you never know maybe he has been busy and couldnt return your call and he felt bad when you called him again he wanted you to know why he didnt call, it could go either ways. just be upfront with him and ask him if he cares about you or not why waste your time on someone who doesnt care about you, when you could be with someone else who does

ok it means he is hiding something unless it is a completly legit reason like his mom died or he dropped cell phone in water. But if it was like " i left my cell at home" or something easy to say then it u know something is up, but it doesnt mean what he is hiding is a bad thing could be something embarrassing or it could be a bad thing. just get straight with your man!

I have given up trying to interpret guys behaviour, they can be way too random. If you think he's a nice person, who won't jerk you around, then trust in that, otherwise be wary.

if he says something like "uhh uhh i umm uhh couldnt get the phone cause uhh i umm you know couldnt............" then he is hidding something. if he tells youi flat out "I couldnt answer the phone because i was sick and forgot i had left it in my car" then thats another excuess. but if he really tells ya in detail then yea he may bcare
