i'm going to start planning my wedding soon.. but i'm also dreaming about my ex nearly every night.. is that normal, before serius decisions?

Yeah id say its normal.. the thought of entering marriage scares some people, not knowing what will happen in the future, the thought of forever.. ect.. so they tend to think about the past because its something they already know, and are comfortable with .. Im terrified of not knowing the future, but sometimes u need to let go of your past to protect your future as well.. and thats what u need to do before you say i do.. stop dwelling in the past, love your husband , know that everything is a risk, and a leap of faith in life.. but if your to busy dwelling in the past just because its a safty blanket for u, youll miss out on so much happiness in your future..
Good luck.. and i think its just a part of cold feet.. remember he's an x for some reason and u have a man that loves u and actually wants to be with u, if ur x was that great he'd be the one standing at the alter with u..

the question is that how did the both of u break up? , u initiated the breakup between u and ur ex or he initiated it?. if u were the one and u still love him still after all this time , u will seriously regret to have done that. maybe try going back to him? but if he was the one who has broken up with u he obviously has nothing left for u. so get on with life and go with ur new hubby

It could be because you're nervous. You know you're about to take a HUGE step. No more dating, no more single life, no more boyfriends, blah, blah, blah. I think it sounds normal, but ask yourself one thing: Are you still in love with that ex? It may be something you need to think about. Remember, you only live once. I know you'll make the right decision.

It is normal because i am also passing throught the same situation.i have been engaged now and my fiance lives abroad.if i want i can still meet my ex.my heart is constantly forcing me to call him up and meet him but i am stopping myself.you should stop yourself from thinking about him as i am restricting myself from thinking about him.It is useless now.
