If you are of an age at which you are starting to wonder when this will happen, I would suggest that you start to carry a purse. Carry some pads in your purse. There will generally be some signs before you start menses. You might find that you are more emotional than usual, getting upset easier or mad for no reason. You may have some cramping in your lower abdomen or back. Your breast may feel tender or sore.
If you are displaying these signs, be prepared. Make frequent trips to the bathroom. (preferably between classes) It's a natural process. Once you do begin your woman's cycle it is advisable to always track it on a calendar. Doing that will give you some idea of when to expect to need to "carry your purse" next month.

ask a teacher if you can be excused. Put a couple pads or tampons in your back pack and stop by there on your way to the bathroom. If you have a regular cycle just wear a liner on the day(s) you're likely to start- it'll give you more time to get to a bathroom.

Just go to the nurse and get a pad. She will give one to you. It might be very embarrasing if it seaps through your clothes. In that case, you will probably have to get somebody to drop buy your house and get you a new outfit or pick you up.
