There are a lot of providers in the Eugene area - the question is how much do you want to pay and how fast do you want the connection to be?
The least expensive are places like bandonisp.com (it's not based in Eugene, but they have access from everywhere), jeffnet.org or peoplepc.com - all are right around $11 a month, dial-up. You can also look at Earthlink, AOL, GTE or other national services like them.
Next are services where if you have an existing service, you can get it cheaper - like Verison DSL if you use them for your phone or Charter cable if you have cable TV. These run about $35 month to start, but they always have specials.
Last is T-mobile.com or Edge Wireless. Both have cell phone service and now also offer a air-phone service. If you have a portable computer their airphone service lets you use the cell phone towers to have Interenet anyplace your cell phone works. Service is an extra $50 a month over your cell phone bill.
