Don't worry. Be happy. God will be your strength. My 83 year old mother in law is very happy, active, and doing great. You don't have to become sedentary and dull. Keep active. Play games. Read. Be fun to be with and you'll have a great life.
Personally, I want to live forever with Jesus my Savior! If you don't know Him, read all about His great love for you in the Bible. "For God SO loved the world (put your name here) that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
Be at peace with God through our Savior, Jesus.

Don't believe the fortune teller. It is in your hands whether you decide to walk out of your house now and throw yourself in front of a bus or something.
I do want to live to an old age, but, like you, I feel over 80 is a little old. Saying that, my Nan is about to celebrate her 80th birthday in 2 weeks. If anything happened to her I would be gutted and I don't think she is ready to leave us just yet. There are still things that she wants to see and do.
I am 34 and due to get married next year. I will be the only one of her grandchildren that she will have seen walk down the aisle. I know that is one thing she is holding out for. She is still very healthy and has two holidays a year with my Granddad. She's very lucky and her life is great even though she is really old.
I wish the same for me if I am lucky enough to live to be that old.

Don't worry about being old and living past 70...instead think of ways to ensure a comfortable and full of fun old years! I myself would love to live 100 years. If I have children in the future, I would love to seem them all grown up and see their children's children as well. I just love life, so dying young for me is out of the question...and trust me 70 is too young to die!

I personally do believe in furtune tellers because they have told me stuff that nobody knew and stuff that were going to happened and did happened. I wouldn't want to live alone myself when I am old, who would like that? Im sure thats not going to happened to you. Be happy that you are going to live long because you are a healthy person.

Fortune tellers always do that...I don't believe in fortune tellers anyways. I would love to live 80+ as long as I'm happy & healthy. We only have one life (as far as we know) and you have to live your life to the fullest, including the fullest in length. :)

85 years. I can't imagine what point there would be in living beyond that. Particularly in a country like the United States where old people are hated and reviled and stuffed away to rot in raisin ranches, all but ignored.

You shouldn't let that bother you. Just live your life as you would live it, with loved ones surrounding you. Don't lose sleep over what some random fortune teller said.
As for me, I just want to live long enough to see my grandchildren and hopefully, great grandchildren as well! :)

Your fortune teller is full of crap.
I'll live as long as this earth wants me to...and not a minute longer.

I already have. Every day is another gift of a lifetime. Getting older is no problem. It's another opportunity to look at things from a different way. As long as I can experience whatever my senses allow me- I want to live as long as I can. The day I no longer find pretty girls "pretty"- is the day I can be laid to rest. :)
