I am friends with this guy and when I talk to him he looks straight into my eyes like he can see my soul. I absolutely melt when we make eye contact. And when we do talk he will stare into my eyes for about 3-5 seconds longer than most people. Is it a mental connection or something more? Do you think I'm the only one that feels this way or could it be mutual?

Yah he'll gently touch my back or shoulder a lot and always help me out and look at me a lot when I walk by.

Looking through the eyes always means something. Most of the time it is something good

gee thats odd where i come from eyecontact is seen as a sign of respect and that the person is paying attention... that they are assertive and confident.

Its always the timid, shy, not-confident people whos eyes are glancing around, staring at the shoes.. a sign of nervousness and uncomfortability.

guess people are different nowadays...now its something pseudosexual...

It says he has confidence and is sincere about what he is saying and listening intently to you.
It is not just that he is looking you in the eye but also allowing you to look at his.

Unfortunately, it says more about your feelings than his. How does he act otherwise? Does he find excuses to touch you when he talks to you?
