When I get my "time of the month" there is one day where I have the WORST cramps ever. Almost unbareable. I take some painkillers and it goes away like it should. Does anyone else experience this or ever did? Is it normal to be in so much pain? I've had this for years, and always went for check-ups with a couple different OB/Gyn's and nothing was "found" wrong. Just looking on other women's insights. I worry too much.

Honey, your day of the month is for me the week of the month. I know, the doctor says that it's normal, but for me, it's hell. Can you belive if I told you i take four days per month for just that? I dont know why the pain is so acute, most of them time, i end up crawling on the floor with pain. Wat i do od just get some sleep (better said than done in this case), but at least when I'm asleep, i dont have to feel the pain. Mine takes 4 to 5 days, and the pain remains for the whole duration.

I used to have terrible cramps - you know, reducing me to crying, almost fainting, etc; worst on the first day; recurring a bit more mildly on the fourth day.
Since I started birth control pills, I haven't had a cramp. I know if you are married and trying for children, it's not an option, and most of the pills have side effects (I put on a bit of weight, but that is a process that can be controlled); but it was worth it... I have difficulty with the idea that I will have to come off the pills (well, I do want children, eventually...)
A lot of women have cramps, and a lot of doctors say it doesn't mean something is wrong. It just... hurts.

No I strongly doubt that this is a demonstration of an STD. it ought to be a right away effect of your rigidity over the region. i be responsive to my cramps worsen whilst i'm under pressure. If the cramping gets worse from this element on ask your well-known practitioner approximately ponstel this is a drugs for cramps that I definitely have got here across to be the main suitable element ever made! I definitely have had severe camping out for the previous 6 years and that's the only element that gets me with the aid of my cycle.

Oh i have the worst cramps, sometimes the painkillers don't do much. As long as they don't suddenly get worse it's fine. It just sucks.

i have it too, or at least have had lately. the actual period pains may or may not be something strange. if you start exercising fairly hard and regularly some of these cramps may go away though.

about every three months i get cramps that make me cry myself to sleep and pain killers dont work....but ive found out that if you take them a few days before you get your period...then its not as bad...also dont wait until you satrt to cramp...take them as close as the bottle directs like if it says 4-6 hours take it at 4 hours that way you dont get them as badly. hope i helped

It's not normal, but not abnormal either, if that makes any sense. You might try hormone therapy (ie: birth control pills), they can regulate your cycle, and really worked wonders on my cramps.

no worries if the doctor says "nothing wrong" I believe that kind of unbearable cramps may disappear once you got married and have kids in the future...
