I have all my songs on my desktop, goin' out to study, of course take my ipod wid me .i will have a laptop there cannot take the pc. how do i put new songs into my ipod there, how do i update it where i dont have my desktop.

I had that incident to but I just put all my mp3 songs on a cd by burning it then I put it on my playlist in my laptop.

you can only link your ipod to 1 computer, they do everything the can to make it harder to pirate music (like it actually works) but yeah, so there is not much you can do. call 1800-APL-CARE if your unit is still under warranty and see what they can tell you, if its possible they will tell you how, but i don't think it is.

you need a program like yugio or ipod shift

go to versiontracker.com or sourceforge.net and search for "ipod" and "multiple computers"

i do but i didnt hav a problem but i wouldnt advice it cause i don want it to be my fault if you had a problem. good luck!
