i like that you value your friendship so much. not many people can say that they have that kind of connection w/anyone. you're lucky. your friend is your soul-mate, and no i don't mean in a sexual way or anything like that. your friend fills that void in you, makes you feel like FINALLY someone understands you. makes you feel good about yourself, makes you feel important and worth it. everyone wants someone like that in their life. you should feel very lucky. don't take it something you need to figure out, just be happy that you have a friend like him. me and my best friend are the same way, we've known each other for more than 15 years and there are times when we don't' talk for months. but as soon as we meet up again? it's like we never was apart.
all teenagers don't have to follow in the "rebellious" mold that everyone makes them out to be. in my teens? i never experimented in drugs or alcohol. it was a conscious choice that i made. and don't get me wrong i wasn't a wallflower, i was a cheerleader and still graduated w/honors. it's a matter of holding the things you value close to you. we all slip up as young adults, that's a part of life. you seem to be on the right track.

Okay, so you've got a really great friendship with a really great younger person. What's the problem again?
BTW: If this was a, "Help, I'm having tingly feelings for my same-sex friend," cry for feedback, dude, sorry, I totally missed it. Either way, go with what your feeling, after all, it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.
Best of luck to you both.

Hope you're a girl,or I Don't know. Not dogging you out, but it sounds brokeback to me. Look inside yourself before you reveal that info to your friend, it might scare him. I'm glad you can feel that way, but look at your question and how it's written. I'd be scared of MY "friend." How 'bout a game and some Ho-chasin'? Tears and feelings? Not so mannish. Just think about that one before you let it go.

it may sound absurd to you, but i believe you are soul-mates. a soul mate is two souls getting together again after being together for past lives. a soulmate recognizes its other soul instantly, you feel you have known each other for a lifetime..
Teenagers , yes have rowdy personalities but if you friend has calm demenar, its becoz he is a good saintly soul......who is born to be non-violent & friendly

THAT'S VERY TOUCHING. I FEEL THAT WAY ABOUT AMY. I BELIEVE THAT GOD MIGHT PUT SOMEONE SPECIAL IN OUR LIVES TO HELP US. THAT PERSON DOESN'T ALWAYS HAVE TO BE OPPOSITE SEX. JUST CAUSE YOU LOVE SOMEONE DOESN'T MEAN YOU GOTTA MARRY THEM OR TURN GAY. I LOVE AMY WITH ALL MY HEART BUT IM NOT GAY. MAKE SURE YOUR FRIEND KNOWS HOW SPECIAL HE IS TO YOU. I TRY TO ACT LIKE IT MAY BE LAST TIME I EVER SEE AMY EVERY TIME WE HANG OUT OR TALK.
