Shared dll files are files that are used by more than one program within XP on your computer. Most will not hurt anything, and are best left alone. Download Ccleaner from Ccleaner.com, and it will clean up unused dll files in your registry (use the issues button). It is also great to eliminate spyware, cookies, and all traces of where you have been. Good luck.

Dll files are nothing but Dynamic Link Libraries. They were designed by Microsoft in order to prevent unneccessary usage of hard disk. Shared Dll are nothing but the dll's which are shared by two or more programs to run. if any such dll file is deleted both the programs would cease to run.
shared dll file does not mean u r sharing ur computer with anyone else. dll files are jus required to incorporate software to the operating system.

No. It means that two or more programs are sharing the same file.
When you uninstall software this warning comes up letting you know that if you delete the file it may affect another program.
