One who has a great track record of getting the best out of their students. And one who loves teaching more than getting ahead or making the biggest paycheck. One who loves & enjoys children and is always looking for new ways to help them "get it" and turn their lights on. One who isn't afraid of admitting they're wrong. And one who isn't afraid of being childlike, when necessary. If you can find all of these traits in one person, you'll know they have a love for what they're doing, and are successful at it too. Those are great combinations. <*)))><

If you offer a good package, you will have your choice of teachers. Hire teachers who have taught abroad. They have often been allowed to be more creative in the classroom than they could be in a public school stateside. They've also learned to work in all sorts of circumstances.
