How mean is too mean?

Question

Theres this guy named Chris. He's my friend but he makes fun of me a lot. He makes a lot of fat jokes and jokes about my vag that really offend me. Every time he's giving me the eye.. where he's staring at my fat, I cringe cuz I know what lethal words are about to escape his mouth. I once had a dream about sitting on him for a total of 3 days and suffocating him with my obesity. Does that mean I hate him? I mean, he' not a mean person.. he's just mean to me, really. He's nice to his roommate J and his other friends, but every time I walk up to see him, he starts shaking frantically as if with each step I am making the ground bounce. I don't want to lose the friendship over a bunch of fat jokes, though. But theres more... every time my legs open, he plugs his noise and starts complaining about some foul smell from the bowels of hell. But I shower every night! Please help me. Do I hold out hope or do I drop him? I've always considered him my balloon... but I guess I have to let him go.

Well you seem to care about him alot. I also have a friend that did this. I still love her. A lot of times when we joke and say things about ourself because we are not happy with ourself, they kinda pick it up and think it is ok for them also. I also know you fell like you are being over sinsotive about your waight if you let this mess up a good friend ship. Can you loose the waight??Can you turn this in to a positive thing? Would he still love you if you were not Big? Would you still be you?? I know how bad this hurts... And i tryed to turn it around... Its always hard. Now me and my friend take brakes every once in a while from one another about the time I cant stand her NE MORE!!but a few weeks later We are OK again. Truly do you tell him you dont like it? Or do you just laugh along so noone knows it bothers you? Some ppl think its just ok untill thay are told.

Sweetie, i hate to say this, but if he keeps up racking off the fat jokes it's only gonna make you feel worse, as it seems that it is already taking a toll on you. I liked your dream though, that was funny and it would have served him right. Not everyone is the "perfect size". I know that when i was married to my ex he took and made alot of fat jokes and he was down right cruel in public to me about my weight. If you haven't yet, tell him that his comments and jokes hurt your feelings. Or maybe you could retaliate by whenever your outside and the wind starts blowing hard tell him to hold on to a tree because he is gonna get sucked away by the force of the wind, start cracking skinny jokes or worse start making fun of him like he does you by pointing out something that he's got wrong with him. If he still doesn't get the point and continues, i would end the relationship for sure.

there is nothing worse than being stuck in a friendship that has nothing but pain. You shouldnt have to suffer for this. I would definatly pop that ballon.

you r toooooooooooo kind; the dream doesn't make u mean it is telling you to wake up and drop him that's not a friend that is a#$ hole if he's only mean to u then that should offend u in every way and let the balloon go for your own sake see how much negativity you also lose. good luck(smile).

If he offends you and hurt your feelings he's not your friend. If you haven't told him how you feel then you should and if he keeps on making fun of you, you need to let him go. You dont deserve that. Friends are suppose to lift us up not bring us down. Some people only make fun of others to make themselves feel better and those type of people you cant trust, but when it all boils down you deserve a better friend than that.

Honestly, i think you should buck up... i mean you added all those extra pounds so deal with it... im sure you probably havent noticed that rank smell because youre used to it. LOL @ friends w/e you mean little debbie and mrs.butterworths, i usually just eat them not hold conversations with them. id start shaking too... i bet that smell is god awful, youre lucky he just plugs his nose, id just plug my life, and as for and i doubt itd take 3 days with all those extra lbs on your your back... i mean i didnt know when women got pregnant they carried their babies on their backs, but anyway just to let you know, i wouldnt let him go... im LETTING YOU GO... drop him he's all mean and meaness of all( a new word for him alone!) if you are concerned of the friendship then you loose mind you he is not a friend at all. a friend for a simple definition is someone who can accept you whoever you are...geez wake up bro he's a absolutly a mean person!

if he is ur friend he shouldnt be telling u those things. give him up, let him go he needs to really grow up. and u just make friends with a better person. hopefully i helped.
