You know in the show "Growing Pains" there was that kid who was a friend of Mike's and his nickname was "B*ner". Did the producers not know that B*ner is slang for an erection? Does anybody know what was going through their minds? Or has this thought crossed your mind at one time or another? I never, ever got that. Like what the bleep????

***** was also the term for mistake! I believe that was their intention!

This show is from the 80s isn't it? At the time I think ***** meant a mistake or stupid act. It didn't have any sexual connotations until later.
I'm not absolutely positive on this by the way. To tell the truth, I never remember it having a meaning except a mistake until recently. How long has it meant an erection?

Not every thing is a nasty comment. I am sure that they new that Bone** is a reference to a mans early morning arise or something else. Bonsai, or Le meaboner, It was a family show so I really don't think it was an intentional name to offend

***** is also a slang term for a huge mistake, and since the character was played as a little stupid they could get away with it.
