NO, Jerry Rice was a legend that kept his mouth shut and showed people his thoughts on the field. T.O. is just a loud mouth waste of talent.

They each possess unique talents and therefore should not be compared; there is only one Jerry Rice and only one T.O. Rice will be considered the best receiver of all time for the foreseeable future but T.O. is stronger than Rice ever was and T.O. has the ability to break tackles better than Jerry Rice ever could... Just because they are both WR's does not mean that T.O. should be compared to Rice...

T.O is the next Jerry Rice...like Grant Hill(without the bad attitude) is the next Air Jordan. T.O is very good...but Rice is great. Right now there is no next Jerry Rice. Randy Moss is probably more talented( than Rice)as is T.O possibly...but T.O is disruptive...has not matched Rice's production to this point in Rice's career(at least I do not think) and also it is not likely T.O will be productive as long as Rice was and last but not least...Rice won multiple Super Bowls T.O may not win any.

There will never be another Jerry Rice! T.O. is however the first T.O.! I think Bill Parcells and Jerry Jones will bring the best of of T.O. In the end he will be remembered as one of the greatest to ever play the game! The Cowboys got a real bargain and a ticket the the super bowl when they signed T.O! GO COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

T.O. is the next Barry Bonds. A sports star so despised by fans, players, and owners and yet making news for his on field accomplishments. Next time, Ben Rothesburg should put TO in the sidecar.

No. It doesn't matter how many passes he catches and how many touchdowns he scores. Jerry Rice had class and Owens does not.
