I am a white girl with brown eyes, and am tired of always hearing that blue and green eyes are more attractive (white people almost worship light eyes). It really does bother me and sometimes even hurts me when I, or other brown eyed people, don't receive many compliments while people on tv and in person can't shut-up about light eyes! I know it's not very important, but I am curious and would like to know some opinions.

I love and I mean LOVE brown eyed girls. They scare me because I can not say no or hurt a brown eyed girl because seeing pain or disappointment in those beautiful eyes breaks my frigging heart.

I am sorry that this is bothering you, remember the loveliest eyes are smiling eyes. Brown eyes can look very smouldering and seductive, especially with the right make-up. Remember that eyes are the mirror of your soul, you can have beautiful brown, blue, green or hazel eyes. If you continue to worry about your eyes, which I am sure are lovely, why don't you try some of the coloured lenses that are available on the market ?
Sometimes people are never satisfied with the way they look, I have almost black hair and quite vivid blue eyes whereas my sisiter who is 4 years older than me has the same colour hair with gorgeous brown eyes - I used to envy her, however as I have grown up my attitude has changed and I am now very happy with my lot !
Please don't worry yourself too much about this and remember to keep smiling.

Personal preference, some like it, others don’t. I think people like blue or green color because it’s not as common, I think brown eyes is a dominate trait. I don’t think the eyes are the most important thing on the body as far as things go (if you know what I mean). I have blue eye, people always used to say how amazing they were, until the summer of ’05. . . . a tree attacked me and a piece of my iris is now missing. Now people ask what happened to my eye. Be thankful you have eyes.

I am a white girl with brown eyes too. I love my brown eyes because they can change from a golden brown to a brown/black colour depending on my mood.
My husband has beautiful blue eyes.

Absolutely not! Brown eyes are beautiful. They're warm, sexy, & depending upon how a girl uses them- they can be awesome! I've had more than my share of brown-eyed beauties stare me in the face- where I ended up having to be scraped off the floor with a spatula!!! Brown eyes are beautiful.........haven't you ever heard the song about my brown eyed girl? There is nothing prettier or more mysterious than dark eyes. Be confident in the those beautiful brown eyes!

I have brown eyes too. I hated them when I was younger, I am the only one in my family with brown eyes. Now, as an adult, I get tons of compliments on my eyes. I've learned to love them, as they are part of who I am. You should love yours too. If you are so unhappy, you can try some colored contact lenses.

The same amount of people that like light eyes like dark eyes and yours is somewhat in the middle . So I just think you haven't yet met the ones who like brown eyes . Be patient and most important ...............Confident.

gentle brown eyes are attracive for my section, i've got been given dark brown eyes very almost black and that i cant even see my pupil lol till i glance heavily. AS to your makeup subject you ought to easily positioned on contacts if u dont like ur eyecolor btw or make ur eyes stand out with eyeliner and mascara ect..

I loveeeeeeee brown eyes on guys. I think if you love someone their eyes become intoxicating. Its not what you think but the person who knows you think when they see you. You could be enticing someone and not know it. I have big dark as coal eyes that shine and I get compliments all the time.
