Sick of people ripping on Smoke
Okay, here it goes. I am totally frustrated, miffed and pissed off
at people who hate Tony Stewart. Other drivers do the same damn
thing Tony does but Tony is labeled bad and an asshole and a jerk
among other colorful anecdotes to describe his demeanor. I am ready
to blow a gasket I swear.
So Tony has a temper, so does everybody else. He's opinionated.
He's honest. He's a bit aggressive on the track and he gets sick of
media sticking their damn microphones in his face when he gets out
of his car. The man is claustrophobic, give him a break.
I want to see one of these buttheads in the media do what Tony does
with the pressure on him he has. He's a man for crying out loud!
He is not perfect.
If any man has ever had a heart it is Tony Stewart! Bad boy my
***. He donates money to all sorts of causes. He takes his time
with each fan when he can. His heart is broken over the loss of
others loved ones. He loans out his chopper and his plane to
friends for funerals, emergencies and weddings. He gives and he
gives but all people want to see is the side of Tony that embarasses
even him at times.
Give the man a break! He's talented. He can drive anything with
wheels on it and win. He's won so many damn championships in so
many different kinds of cars it's insane. He deserves some respect
for the things he does. So you're not a fan! Keep your mouth
shut. Wear his shoes for a day and see if you can hold your head
high at the end of the day.
I am just fed up. He is not gay. He is not an asshole nor is he
the other versions of that word I hear so often. He wears his heart
on his sleeve but I think he has finally realized that all you
people want to do is stomp it for him. Shoot me if I am wrong but
he is a man and he will make mistakes. He puts his pants on one leg
at a time just like everbody else. He loves what he does.
The media needs to back off a bit and let Smoke breathe. The fans
who don't like Tony need to take a better look at the man. I am
ready to kick some serious butt. One more person approaches me to
inform me that my jacket or my tshirt or my hat shows I am stupid
because of Tony I am going to go absolutely nuts. Psycho ward here
I come because I cannot handle people putting this man down anymore.
I am a Tony Stewart fan. I will always be a fan, even if he runs a
reporter over with his stock car. I have great respect for him. He
is my hero. If you don't like that, that is not my damn problem.
Give me some respect and Tony some and keep your stinking mouth
shut. I have stopped slamming Gordon and the Busch brothers out of
respect. Why can't everybody else?
Oh that's right because it's easier to put someone else down than it
is to look at your own faults as an individual. Get a life!

I think you are misunderstanding. Woman here, loves Nascar, big Jeff Gordon fan, not a Tony Stewart fan. How did you like last week? Wasn't it fun watching him get spun on pit road. Now that I've pissed you off- serious answer- racing wouldn't be fun if everyone liked the same driver. It would be BORING. Sure, not everyone likes Tony, some of us don't like his temper tantrums or the fact that he could cause another driver to get hurt, but that said even the die hard "I hate Tony Stewart" people-I'm not one of them by the way-have the same relationship with him as the Late Dale Earnheart. That should tell you something. Everyone knows the boy can drive. They either hate him because he's good or they hate him because he's "bad". That my friend is the FUN part of racing. Relax, laugh a little, enjoy the fun.

Not tired at all of the Stewart bashers.
Tony Stewart is a good race car driver! But...
...there's a big difference between rough racing and purposeful ignorance and actions. Rough racing does not equal wrecking your competitor. End of story.
...and no other driver is stupid enough to do that, so its not even a discussion about "if someone else would have done it, nobody would care."
...Tony Stewart is no Mark Martin, Dale Earnhardt, Cale Yarborough, or Bobby Allison....simply because of his character. He has no character or self-confidence thats why he has such a victim mentality and thats why he acts in such selfish and hypocritical ways.

TONY S*CKS. He isn't a great driver..just a stupid one. his mistakes in the last races have cost him. Tony is such a whiner. If he isn't first in line, he can't take it and just pushes everyone aside like Sr. did. Stewart is an aggressive driver with an ego. this guy eats up all the attention. It is always someone else's fault except his! It was great at Pocono when Edwards kicked him in the *ss and turned him around on pit road! now that was exciting! And by the way... did you ever notice that there is never a girlfriend? I think HE IS GAY! he is never with a girl, NEVER!

Tony is a great driver!
See now Nascar has rules about this kind of driving, that's the difference! Rules are meant to be followed! After Sr. died, everything changed, they don't want to be known as a deadly sport!
The thing about Tony gets me is he says one thing then does another! If he said "hey lets just race rough and risky and may the biggest bully win", it would work, but practice what you preach!

Tony Stewart will continue to be bashed as long as he continues his temper tantrums and his fans jump to his defense. The guy can drive a race car so I don't understand why he has to go out and act the way he does. Not everything done to him is on purpose, but he acts like everybody else should just pull over for him and let him by.
The guy needs to practice what he preaches and tone his temper down. At that point, the fans will quit bashing him.

Smoke is the Man!!! Yes, Tony is very aggressive on the track, but whos not. Smoke knows what he wants, and is going to get it no matter what the cost. I would like to see him grow up a bit, over crap like Sunday. He was out of line, the rookie made a mistake and Tony reacted badly.

I agree with you. Overall Tony is a really good guy and can drive the wheels off a race car. He has one heck of an attitude, but you'd have to in order to go 3or4 wide at 200 mph only inches apart right? (I don't root for him on race day, but that is mostly because my husband likes him.) He has done a huge amount of charity work...to me it's just as important what one does off the track as well as on.

I'll never get tired of listening to people talk trash on Tony Stewart. Besides, that's what he does about other drivers. Nothing is ever his fault.....when it usually is.

Im just tired of everyone who has asked a question after somebody did something to another driver...
"Who thinks Tony should be suspended for waht he did?" "Who here thinks Jeff Gordon should be suspended for what he did to Kenseth?"
Imean this a Yahoo Answers, not "who here wants to know my opinion?"
Ask a legititmate question not a full fledged opinion.
