Guys are undeniably hard to understand.
I had a best friend who was a guy once, and it seemed like things were perfect. We were so close, but only as friends. I'd tell him anything, he'd tell me anything. And one day, he just said he didn't want to be friends with me anymore.
He was so moody at that point. He was mean. He was rude. He treated me bad and now that I think about it, he really didn't deserve me as a friend.
Yet a while before that, he'd answer every phone call from me, talk to me 24/7, all that stuff. Now he didn't want to speak to me ever again.
I tried so many times to talk to him or get him to talk to me. Like, SO many. A ridiculous amount. My god, what a waste of time! If someone won't respect you and treat you good, you should never waste your time putting up with them.
Point is... people change. Some for the better, some for the worse. People just change. Sometimes you can change it. Sometimes it will stay that way for good.

Guys are just as hard to understand as girls are. Maybe he is have a hard time with how he is feeling. Guys go through just as many changes as girls do when they hit puberty. Maybe he likes you, just give him a little time it will work it's self out.

Maybe this dude doesn't want to be friend, maybe he wants to be boyfriend and the frustration, lack of experience, and poor social skills, led him to act weird, puberty sucks! It's when we decide what kind of person we will be, is not easy at all.

He might have noticed you as more than a friend all of sudden. This might make him nervous.
