It's his penis. If he wants to go through that kind of pain and risk infections, then it is his choice. I have no right to tell him what he can and can't do to his body.
I have never been with a guy with a ring so I can't comment on whether it is better.

I never understood why anyone would want to pierce such a delicate spot.
One of my buddies did and paid the price. He was sitting at work and stood up suddenly when the piercing got caught in his underwear.
It musta pulled the piercing because the next thing I knew he was doubled over.
And then we all just laughed....

I wouldn't. It's not worth it mate. If the women you're sleeping with don't love the sex you're giving them, it's probably your technique. Buy some books and read up about it- there are plenty around.
