Well, I'm a feminine woman.. and I live the traditional 1950's style marriage. Stay at home mom who does everything besides make the money and mow the lawn... BUT.. I see nothing wrong with being gay.
I think it's commendable for people to actually come out. They say that it's easier now for people to admit that they're homosexual.. but you don't really see it. Just because people talk about it more now doesn't mean it's more accepted. I'm sorry that you have to feel like everyone is trying to save you.. and tell you what you're doing is wrong.. but.. we all deal with it to some degree.. maybe not the extent that you do..but we all do.

When did sexual preference became an issue for just one sex?
Sexual preference is it environmental or genetic? At this point, the scientific evidence is not conclusive. Maybe at later point.
For the Christian critics: 1 Cor 10:23-24 with emphasis on verse 24.
But wait, it say that homosexuals are forbidden. Wrong. It says homosexual relationships are forbidden to the Jews.
I guess I need to cite 1 Cor 10:23-24 again.
God loves all his/her/its children including their sexual preferences. Actually God loves all his/her/its children; there is no mention of sexual preferences.
If you don't believe me, ask for the biblical verses. I can show you what the bible says (or doesn't say) on this point. Check the language.
By the way, did you read 1 Cor 10:23-24 with emphasis on verse 24. Because the discussion (preaching) regarding sexual preference is not (I repeat not) meeting the standard of verse 24.
The good news I have for you the questioner is the good news (gospels). But bad news is that people who claim to knows God's word, don't.
Is that enough genitalia for you?

I don't know about the bit about ovaries, but I'm a very femme bisexual. Who has had serious relationships with BOTH guys and girls. I HATE HATE HATE stupid people who think that bi women only want girls on the side and men to marry or accuse bisexuals of still holding on to being heterosexual. My current relationship of two years is with a girl, and I hope it will last for the rest of our lives. I don't get any more bennies for being bi then a lesbian couple does. Just because I wear skirts and jewelry and have nice hair and painted nails doesn't make me heterosexual. It just makes me a snappy dresser.

I am a feminine gay woman and proud of it.
Fems don't have any easier time of it than any other lesbian we just get more men hitting on us?!?! And the added bonus of some people not believing we are gay simply cuz of the way we look. I still get heckled by kids on my street.
And I agree being gay is not a preference more of an orientation we don't choose to be straight or gay we just are.

Feminine bi woman here, and proud of it!
When I was 17, I came out in order to be truthful and to be my real, true, full self. I would not be doing that if I looked androgynous or hid my feminine nature. I wear long hair, pinkish lipstick, and skirts because that's what I look good in; I can fix the toilet and paint my nails; I cry at the movies and shrink away from bloody scenes and love a good chase scene and hate chick flicks. I may answer to "who brought the straight girl" in the clubs, but my wife loves me just the way I am, and that's fine by me.
Oh, and I just got a really cute butch soda delivery woman to give me a free soda. :-)

I have the ovaries to say that I am a feminine, heterosexual woman and I am proud of it... Being gay is a preference...so i disagree with you saying that it isn't...I would see it more like being addicted to smoking...Yes you can quit but you have to want it bad enough to quit...If you are gay and desire to be straight, you have to want it bad enough...nothing is impossible (if you believe in Christ who gives you strength)...but if you do believe in Christ and you are gay, you need to pray for strength because if you die being gay, and have not repented, you are going to hell...Read 1 Corinthians 6:9...being gay displeases God...But I am not here to preach because I cannot save you...I can only give you the Word of God...If you are proud to be gay, be proud, but as for me, I am a proud heterosexual female and I loves my men....

and feminine gay women? in my view, they got it easy? i mean no one would guessed that they are gay and therefore leave them alone. i might be making sweeping statements but its my sincere views.
regards fellow proud gay women!
