Cruella D'evil has nothing on Meryl Streep as the boss. It was the perfect summer movie; sweet, easy, and deliciously evil. Definately a must see for a thought free 90 minutes.

LOVED Meryl Streep, but the rest of the movie was just ok. Didn't live up to it's billing except for her. the main character kept getting told "a million girls would kill for this job," and I kept thinking, "well, where the hell are they?" there have to be other fashion-don'ts in NY with better qualifications to work at a fashion mag than our heroine. and i didn't buy the boyfriend AT ALL. there was more chemistry between anne hathaway and stanley tucci than there was with her and Adrian Grenier. plus, it would have been more symbolic if she'd thrown the blackberry into the Seine at the end, rather than in a fountain where she could rush back and retrieve it if she changed her mind. if she threw it in the river instead, which was RIGHT THERE, it would have been a better symbolic act of separation.
i guess i'd say i was disappointed, except with Meryl Streep, who's absolutely perfect.

It was boring and an extreme waste of my time. The plot was very thin. The acting, save Meryl Streep, was horrible.

I really want to see it. My friend read the book though and thought it was GREAT. I bet it's good. The previews look good.... sorry I didn't really answer.

I thought it was a pretty good movie. Funny and dramatic.
