I once had a customer ask me if an ice cream cake had to be kept in the freezer. My reply was only if you want to keep it in it's original shape.

This happened to my girlfriend while I was present. We were sitting at a bar while on vacation in Puerto Rico and some random man (in his 60's at least) sat next to her and struck up a conversation. He was talking some wild stuff to say the least and we both had blank expressions on our faces. When he realized she was not getting his drift he said, "Oh pardon me I thought you were a traveler." It is even stranger that it was the third time that sort of thing has happened to her and it happened once since then. People assume she has been abducted by aliens or whatever. It's bizarre but she assures me that she is not a traveler at all.

It's not the strangest thing to ever happen, but it is in the top ten. I went to look at a house I was interested in buying. It was owned by a lesbian couple and the Realtor was homophobic. When we walked in and he saw their photo, he started screaming and ran out. He covered his hands with his jacket sleeves to touch the door. He ran to his car and started reading his Bible and chanting something. He then started lecturing me about homosexuals (as if I personally knew these people). It was impossible to reason with him and I didn't get to see the rest of the house. I'm not sure how he expects to earn a living as a Realtor as I'm sure there will be many Sellers with lifestyles he does not agree with. What does that have to do with the sale of their home?
